During a short week spent wandering around Cumbria with a small group of friends, we came across the ‘Secret Old Mill’ in Borrowdale, near Keswick. After parking the car and gathering our gear, we received directions to the Old Mill, but they proved to be inaccurate.
We trudged over the moors through the mud, and eventually, we found the ‘Secret Location.’ It wasn’t so secret after all; there were other photographers already there, as well as a young man creating a YouTube tutorial. Nevertheless, we started taking our own shots.
I ventured a little upstream and found myself alone, which was a nice bonus. After capturing our photographs, we discovered a short and easy route back to the car.
