Monika Seyffer

I was born and raised in a village near Zurich and currently live in the heart of Basel, Switzerland. As a very curious child who always observed what was going on around me, I received my first camera from my father at the age of 10 and began to record my life. I started photographing everything that caught my eye, capturing all the beautiful things around me, and photography became my great passion. Now, I am a passionate landscape, cityscape and wildlife photographer travelling the world. Taking photos is like writing a diary. When I look at my pictures, I can still see myself standing exactly where I took it, feeling the fresh air in the early hours of the morning and the adrenaline coursing through my veins with excitement as one of these wonderful animals appeared. My camera is always with me, and my diary continues to grow.
