Jerre Paquette
I am a retired professor of Written Language, English Literature, and Film History. In my 80s, I turned my attention and passion to photography, which helped me find beauty in my world. The sudden death of my son forced me to search for release from despair and anger, and I found that release in photography. It helped me discover that what mattered was not what the camera saw but what I experienced when engaging with the world of beauty I was living in; the magic was not in taking pictures but in sharing the experience of discovery.
