My photography reflects my vision and the connection we share with nature. The work I create is an attempt at capturing connections - intimate, grand or seemingly plain scenes we may otherwise overlook. I hope you are able to form your own connection and give meaning to what you see - after all, art is in the eye of the beholder, and what you take away is for you. I grew up in New Hampshire, went to high school in Connecticut and college in Virginia. After college I saved up some cash and went to Costa Rica for seven months with a friend. Before this trip, for Christmas 2006 I received my first digital camera, a Panasonic Lumix with a Leica branded lens. That was the beginning of my photography journey and it has been a growing part of my life ever since.
