Jack Quintero

I am a late-comer to photography. I didn't get my first camera from Grandpa when I was five. I didn't get it until many years later when I retired from my day job, and I got it from me. Never having shot film – a curse and a blessing both - I plunged right into the whirlwind of digital photography, spending just a short time as a casual hobbyist before full beguilement. I shoot mostly landscapes, mostly in the American Southwest. But my search for special images - just the few among many – has taken me throughout the western states and Canada and most European countries. This same search has led me to make many new friends – photographers and others. I don't think I have a 'philosophy' of photography. I just love capturing some of those moments when Nature is at her most alluring.
