Henrique Murta

I was born in Minas Gerais (Brazil): a land where the hills assume shapes of waves in a stormy sea. Deep nature always around. Lots of green and blue. Since the beginning of my time, I have been exploring the powerful Brazilian nature in a very intimate way. My father, Roberto Murta, who happens to be an outstanding wildlife photographer, would show me the profound beauty of life and lands from all perspectives. As a result of my strong affection for nature I decided to study Earth Sciences. During my graduate and master’s degrees in geology, in addition to falling even more deeply for our Earth, I learned to read its language. My senses became even more aware of nature’s magic. Since I was about 20 years old I do everything I can to travel around and experience nature on its most varied shapes, colors and temperatures. That became a life goal. And always, a camera in my hands. Little by little photography become a BIG thing. For more than 10 years I have been investing obsessively in technical knowledge, composition, equipment and artistic creation. For the last few years I have been materializing my visions as fine artworks, spreading them throughout walls around our world.
