Garret Suhrie
I started my art career in oil paints, though I fell in love with photography when I discovered I could paint with light. I have been focusing on nocturnal images ever since, experimenting with long exposures and trying to shed light on different ways to see the world. Nature has always been my refuge, and I feel most at home when I am on the road. I have been wandering the globe for nearly 20 years now, and I love nothing more than to share the beauty I've found along my travels. When I am not shooting, you can find me in the wood shop, rock climbing, snowboarding or on a long hike with my other tripod, Gitzo.
