Born in India and raised in New York City since the age of two, I've always been surrounded by a large city's fast-paced and hectic lifestyle. Although I believe beauty is to be found anywhere one chooses to look, my heart is ever drawn to the wild and isolated places of the Earth. I've come to realize that our lives are short and fleeting, making that elusive present moment so much more precious. Through my photography, I hope to convey those feelings of oneness and gratitude which can come from being in the here and now: often in the midst of nowhere, yet somehow, part of everywhere.
