I was born in Petropolis, a city in the mountains near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I always loved climbing and riding my bike in the mountains and these activities lead me to geology. Today I live and work in Rio de Janeiro. I found in photography a way to express how I deal with my world and how I would like it to be. When I am in a creative process I am 100% in it. That makes me feel as good as I can. If I can do that in conjunction with climbing or riding my bike, you won't find anyone happier around, except if there is another landscape photographer nearby.
