At this time of year, the seeds begin to ripen on the rice plants. The green fields show patches of yellow hues. The landscape has great aesthetic beauty, especially on sunny and windy days, with the plants—some green, others already yellow—undulating in the wind and shining in the sun.
Such was the image I witnessed a few days ago in the fields of the Mondego River. Seen from above, at an altitude of several dozen meters, the old path that passed between the rice paddies acted as the backbone, the leading line of that magnificent view.
