This was a day’s visit to Roswell Creek, just south of Courtenay, with a camera friend. We both took many shots of the creek as it meandered through the trees. Before returning to my car, I took a stroll up the path that followed the creek. Turning around the first bend, I was presented with this pathway through trees, with the sun and shadows reflecting on the ground. It made me stop in my tracks.
I attached my Canon 6D Mark II to my tripod, adjusted my settings to give me the print I wanted, and took the shot.
