It seems suspended between the city’s geometry and the horizon of the sea.
In this image, I sought to capture precisely this meeting point, allowing the sinuous pattern of the paving—its lines—to guide the eye toward the water.
The stone waves in the foreground become a kind of motionless sea, while beyond the quay, the real sea opens up beneath a restless sky streaked with clouds and sudden shafts of light. The small figure of the sculpture, standing solitary on its plinth, adds an almost surreal presence to the scene, balanced between earth and sky.
To the right, the building’s rigorous architecture introduces a contrast defined by lines, verticality, and order, while the posts seem to extend toward the horizon.
An apparently ordinary square thus transforms into a suspended space, where architecture, sea, and sky seem to belong to the same composition.
