We stopped to photograph the bleak Icelandic landscape, enhanced by the prevailing rainy weather conditions and rising mist. I wandered off a little to look for some interesting foreground and found this patch of Icelandic moss.
I used a Lee Hard Grad filter to enhance the brooding sky. A little shading (brightening) of the moss in Capture One was all that was needed to bring the photo to life.
