Those of us who remember the 1994 movie ‘Forrest Gump’ will immediately recall the famous scene of Tom Hanks trudging along this highway. The scene became so iconic that this stretch of road is now known as Forrest Gump Highway.
One of the pleasures of being in a photographic workshop is the great choice of locations, times of day, and opportunities that are offered. Early sunrise light and the lack of traffic made this scene/location appropriate for this month’s assignment. The serenity, quietude, and calmness were clearly evident on the morning this scene was captured.
