Not the tallest mountain peak on the planet, but still very impressive in third place, with an elevation of 28,169 feet (8,586 metres). The view is from the Tiger Hills lookout point, located in India, facing directly toward the peak just as the sun was coming up in the east. There is a very deep chasm right at the edge of the lookout point. The town of Darjeeling is down below. The place normally attracts a huge number of tourists on a clear day.
