Traveled over 1.5 hours to Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. I had planned on hiking a bit to reach a good place to set up for the sunrise. However, fortunately, as I was driving through the park to reach the trailhead, I came across this area on the side of the road that had this view. So, I decided to pull over and set up here.
I took several images of the sun as it began to peek over the mountains. I still decided to do some hiking later, but this was the best image from that outing.
