This location is near my hometown. I have been here countless times and never bothered to stop and look for compositions to photograph. This particular morning, I was driving nearby looking for fungi to photograph and stopped because the fog had just come into the forest and created this special, dark, and mystic atmosphere. Then I noticed this tree stump, covered with green plants, and from this perspective it looked sort of like an alien. I felt a need to photograph this moment, and I am glad I did.
