Victoria Falls Passage, Zambia

This picture was the result of a day-long trek through the Victoria Falls area. After being drenched by rain and spray from the falls, we crossed over to the Zambian side, where I saw this bridge over the water, surrounded by rising vapour and mist. I knew immediately that this was the exact shot I had dragged my bulky zoom lens around for the whole day.

The image was taken without a tripod, and I raised the shutter speed to compensate for my by then tired and slightly shaky hands. I have the same shot in colour, but after converting it to black and white, I decided that I preferred the latter version.
