When visiting Chile a few years ago, we decided to explore the country from top to bottom. That meant visiting the Atacama Desert in the north and Torres del Paine in the south. One of our first trips in the Atacama Desert was a visit to Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon), around 13 km west of San Pedro de Atacama. This image is a panorama consisting of 11 shots taken from the southwest rim of the valley.
