I am a 72 year old retired business owner who lives in a small rural community in the far North of Queensland, Australia. Our town is situated among the rolling hillside farmlands of the Atherton Tablelands on the edge of the Daintree National Park which contains the most biodiverse rainforest on the planet and the mostly unihabited Cape York Savannah to the North and West.
Having come to photography only recently, I'm still in a very steep learning curve, discovering new knowledge every time I pick up my camera or sit in front of my computer. And I get to stay fit hunting new compositions.
