In 2021, I went on a photography workshop that focused on the area around Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. It was a total of six days and five nights, with the middle three spent camping. The second night was at the Cathedral Valley Campground. We had an early dinner and then went to the Upper Cathedral Valley Overlook.
One of the great spots was a fairly narrow wedge of rock that gave a great view of the valley and the surrounding weathered hill formations in the distance. Only two people at a time could be on the projecting wedge, so we had to compose quickly and allow everyone to get a turn before we lost the warm sunlight.
