While exploring the ancient Fanal Forest in Madeira, I was completely captivated by the atmosphere created by the mist. The silence was almost surreal, broken only by the occasional sound of distant cowbells. This tree, with its massive, moss-covered branches stretching in every direction, felt like a true guardian of the forest.
The fog added a sense of mystery and timelessness, making the scene look like something out of a fairytale. My goal was to capture not just the tree itself, but the mood of being surrounded by nature’s quiet power and the feeling of stepping into another world.
