I took this shot during a photo workshop last year in the Utah Badlands, and I love the area so much that I’m actually going back this coming April. This image was captured on our first evening, when our guide took us to a remote location near Hanksville in the Utah Badlands.
After driving along a dirt road, we arrived right in front of this empty canyon just in time for sunset. I loved the quiet of the place and the way the setting sun lit up the hoodoos one last time. I felt great and ready for a wonderful time in the Utah Badlands!
