This photo was taken from the quay of the small port of Balestrand in Norway, located at the confluence of the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest fjord, and the Fjaerland Fjord, on a very grey and cloudy morning.
The low clouds were moving quickly, clinging to the mountains and mingling with the morning mist. The light struggled to pierce the thick cloud cover, casting a few pearly reflections on the dark sea.
I loved this atmosphere, which reminded me of the song ‘100 shades of grey’.
