It was my first time in Castelluccio di Norcia. That place is famous for two things: its flowers and its lentils. When I arrive in a popular location, my goal is to create something different, and that’s not easy in a relatively small and similar setting like Pian Grande.
It was late afternoon, and the light was just beginning to paint the plain when, suddenly, I saw a beam of light illuminating two people. I said to myself, “That’s what you’ve been waiting for!” I took the shot, and in post-production, I tried to mask the shadows. I hope you like the result.
