Pangong Lake is a high-altitude lake (13862 ft) located in a remote part of Ladakh along the frontiers of India and China. A long, treacherous, mountainous road from the city of Leh (10000 ft) with an overnight stop at a remote town led us to the lake.
As we approached the lake and were descending to the lake shores, we discovered a spot where the lake was visible, tucked away in the mountain folds. The view presented here is unusual in the sense that most photographers, to my knowledge, present beautiful views of the lake from its shores.
