A small local park is located next to our shopping mall. The park, Millard Creek, has trails cutting through it that I like to explore. On this day, the mist was rolling in through the variety of trees found in a coastal forest.
After walking a number of paths, I came across this scene. The small Millard Creek, twisting through the forest floor, could be seen through the trees outlined by the mist.
I set up the tripod, attached my camera, focused on the image before me, and took the shot.
