I dropped my camera on a brick walkway in the morning, and this was taken. By some stroke of luck, it landed on the lens cap. The lens also had a screw-on ND filter. I think those two together mitigated the potential disaster. I was expecting the worst. But, there seems to be absolutely no damage to the camera or lens. The lens cap, however, got scraped up. Somehow, it still functions! To test it out, I made the short drive on a late-summer morning to Mt. McDowell, where this scene awaited me.
