I’ve gone traveling again this weekend, searching for another Arizona landscape. One of my favorite areas in southern Arizona so far is Madera Canyon. It has so many different compositions for any nature or landscape photographer.
I decided to go during sundown, as the sun sets in the west and reflects its light on the mountains to the east, giving a beautiful glow. On this particular day, while searching for a landscape-worthy photo to take, I was having trouble finding one and almost gave up on the adventure. I pulled off the road in my final attempt and stumbled upon an open field. I had multiple amazing cacti as subjects, and it was also facing the mountains, catching that sunset glow.
I then found my cactus and lined it up with the mountains. A strong storm was also coming in, giving me amazing clouds and, to my surprise, a rainbow too.
