I have always lived in Livorno and know its entire coastline very well. I go there almost every day to take photos, especially when a storm is approaching. That day, I arrived in the late afternoon, and the sky was closing in, and the first flashes of lightning could be seen on the horizon.
The hardest thing about taking photos is discovering new perspectives, different ones each time, and perspectives that can imbue the photograph with a certain communicative power. I love the vertical format and use it without hesitation when I have the opportunity.
