Over the last few years, my wife and I have spent our winter months in the Palm Springs area. As an avid photographer, I have visited this park many times and collected many images. On this day, while going for a walk, I spotted the leaning Joshua Tree. I knew it would make a fine print, so I returned to my motorhome to gather my gear.
After setting up my Canon with a 24–105 lens and mounting it on my tripod, I moved around to find the best composition possible. As I felt a slightly slower shutter speed would give the result I was looking for, I adjusted my settings accordingly and took the shot.
After some minor adjustments in Lightroom, I saw the print I was hoping for. As a fine art print on canvas, it now hangs on my wall.
