This photo was taken in spring in Jacques-Cartier National Park, Quebec. Although taken in broad daylight, the scene was very dark. I chose to brighten it in post-production to better distinguish the successive planes of perspective. I opted for a long exposure to accentuate the ethereal, almost pictorialist, aspect of this landscape and to make the passage of time more perceptible.
