Lake Brienz, located at the foot of the Brienzer Rothorn mountain (2,350 meters high) in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, marvels us with its turquoise-blue waters, which form a mirror-like reflection when the weather is calm and windless.
Although the lake reaches a depth of over 200 meters, the water is shallower at the edges. Since it is clean and unpolluted, we can see the bottom. Tiny patches of land, adorned with vegetation, like the one in this image, emerge from the water, giving the landscape an ethereal, moving beauty.
The camera was set to manual mode and mounted on a tripod. Using a very long exposure in the late afternoon, I captured this image, which seems to reflect the peaceful character of the lake. Post-processing of the raw file was minimal.
