This photo was taken in fall 2021 ( October) during a photo workshop in the Dolomites, Italy.

It was early in the morning, so there was no one else around—just the quietness of nature and this wonderful view of Tre Cime di Lavaredo, one of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites.

It’s one of the easiest spots in the area as the lake is near the road.

Based on other photos seen online, any season at this lake is great.

I nonetheless really enjoyed seeing all these leaves on the water, as it helped lead the eye to the reflection of the mountains.

I have always been interested in traveling and discovering new places. At first, I just took photos without really knowing what I was doing.

It is through time, and especially thanks to this workshop (and the amazing beauty of the Dolomites), that I started to get really into photography and that it became a passion in the end (and thanks to my wife and kids for being supportive).
