Donut Falls is a delightful hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon just outside of Salt Lake City. It was a beautiful hike during wildflower season. It wasn’t until I got to the top of the hike at the falls that I realized I had left my wide-angle lens at home, and only had my macro lens. I decided to shoot anyway and made this more intimate image of the falls. Sometimes, mistakes lead to creative solutions that inadvertently overcome self-imposed parameters.
