A few years ago, I became aware of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. Once a dilapidated and trash-ridden area, local trail volunteers and the US Forest Service came together to clean it up and restore the trails and campgrounds. This particular scene can be found not far from the Middle Fork Campground, alongside the Taylor River, just before it joins the Snoqualmie Fork. During the rainy spring and fall seasons, a small pool forms beneath the old-growth woods, reflecting the mossy tree canopy. This is a panoramic composite of five vertical frames.

Originally from the UK, I now live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. My interest began at secondary school in the UK when I gained access to a darkroom. There, I learned to process and print black and white 35mm film, followed by slide (transparency) film a few years later at college. In 2004 I switched to digital capture. Today I primarily use a Canon EOS R5 and an EOS R, which has been converted to take capture 830nm infrared images. I enjoy photographing a variety of subjects depending on mood and weather - landscapes, wildlife, sports, and deep sky astrophotography using a telescope.
