Last October, the almost-full moon enchanted me as I watched it between the leaves of two oak trees. Using a long‑focal‑length lens, even with a small aperture, I couldn’t get the moon and the leaves in focus in the same image.
So I took two images: one focused on the moon and the other on the trees. I merged the two with a slight offset, and this was the result. I think the final image conveys the wonder and magic of watching the moon rise on a beautiful late‑autumn afternoon.
