Blue hour walk around Killarney Lake on Bowen Island in British Columbia, Canada. The island is part of the Pacific Northwest’s temperate rainforest, one of the rarest ecosystems on Earth — cool, wet, and alive with cedar, hemlock, ferns, and mosses.
You can walk the entire lake on a relatively easy circular trail, featuring occasional boardwalks and nice lookout points. The lake is littered with dead trees, some utilized by local beavers for their dam. This evening shot was particularly stunning as the mist and fog lay low on the water.
