I often visit Mount Menzies’ old forest fire lookout. From this location, you can view the lake country spreading out 3,000 feet below. I have many images of this view. On this day, as I was driving down the mountain, I saw how the evening fog was drifting through the trees. I liked the composition as it appeared before me enough to stop the Jeep and take this image.
As I was processing the image in Lightroom, I realized it would make a better print in black and white. So, using the great tools found in Lightroom, I created this print.
