On a very windy afternoon in late February with the sun low in the sky and over my right shoulder, the clouds rolled in and parted to provide very different lighting conditions. Bracing myself against the wind of the ocean to protect the camera, which was on a stout tripod, I was lucky enough to have the foreground and the backdrop illuminated for this photograph.
