You hear the roar of the river rushing through the forest long before you see it. The Drowned Forest of the Nass Valley is a yearly phenomenon whereby the river rises from the Spring melt and the Spring showers.

Working its way through the forest, it spills over the banks and crashes through the ancient old growth. Located on the unceded territory of the Nisga’a people of this region of British Columbia, just a short drive from Terrace.
