It was another day of extreme weather—even for Iceland. We had a plan: get there pre-dawn, hoping we would beat the wind. But that didn’t play out, so we waited and waited, and eventually just layered up and hit the beach. As so often happens with wild weather, despite the testing conditions, I think the strong winds added a slightly dreamy element to our images.
