We had enjoyed the wonderful wines in Tuscany and decided to find the famous cypress trees on a hill. We were there in September, so the lush green fields had already been plowed over for the winter.
I loved how the churned up earth contrasted with the trees, giving the photo a lot of texture. In reality, the dirt was very treacherous, with chunks of dirt up to the size of a bowling ball, making the trek to find the perfect spot a bit slow, but I was happy with the result. The clouds were also most accommodating!
