A walk in the snow. The snowflakes are getting bigger and bigger, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The trees are reduced to mere silhouettes. Some still have a few leaves that add touches of color. I love it; I photograph this image that borders on abstraction.

Just prior to sunset, as a spring storm moved toward the west, the sun found a crack in the clouds and illuminated Bridalveil Fall. It was exciting to watch the light move across the valley floor and anticipate that it would rest on the falls.
