I had been to this location multiple times before, and I waited until there were clouds in the sky to make the drive. In Phoenix, there is plenty of sunshine, and at this location you have to be lucky for the sunset light to bring out the color of the rocks and the clouds. I wanted the rocks below to complement the reflection, so I set up my tripod intentionally and waited for the light. This is a four-stitch panorama, processed in Photoshop.
