This image was taken during a photographic workshop in Glen Affric in early November, just before Covid struck, when the colours were truly superb. It was captured at a stream flowing into Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhain on a dull day, yet the colours still stood out beautifully.
The waterfall in the image presents a complex scene, but I felt it effectively portrays the vibrant autumn landscape and the flowing waters. This is an area I would love to return to; I have rarely seen such vibrant colours and reflections in the various lochs elsewhere.
