Lake Skadar in Montenegro is one of the largest bird preserves in Europe. The shot shows one approach to the lake from above. Shown in the shot are the winding water sources of the lake, along with mountains, a land feature that is very involved in the lake itself. The shot itself was taken from a stable point above the lake, which is just the opposite of the long, twisting, bumpy road you will have to take to get this picture.
