I usually go to the Catelluccio plain near Norcia in the summer, but that year I tried in February and was really lucky. The plain was completely covered in snow, and it was really hard to find a good spot. I saw another photographer in the distance and decided to join him. In that area, I discovered two frozen lakes with snowflakes on their surfaces. A unique opportunity for a spot. The sunset was beautiful, and the sun, now behind me, finally illuminated the mountain in front of me. One of the few times I’ve been lucky.
