Nightless Night, Posio, Finland

Sometimes sleeping is overrated. This photo was taken in the middle of a summer night at 2:06 AM when we have nightless nights in Finland (Lapland). I had a feeling that this “endless” road would be interesting to photograph. Was I right?

It was a shock to me how beautiful that road and landscape were with that fog. It was a moment when I was at the right place at the right time. It only took 250km of driving and lots of luck to arrive 10 minutes before the peak moment of that incredible view.
