I headed to the natural pools of Mosteiros just before sunset, hoping to capture the raw beauty of the Atlantic as the last light disappeared behind the horizon.
With a long exposure, the restless ocean turned into a soft, almost dreamlike flow between the dark volcanic rocks. Above it, the sky exploded in shades of purple, blue, pink, orange, and gold, while the setting sun painted a warm reflection across the water.
The contrast between the black volcanic landscape, silky water, and vibrant sunset colors made this one of those moments that reminds you why you carry a camera in the first place.
The Azores at Sunset — wild, dramatic, and absolutely unforgettable.
